EducationUSA at American Councils Almaty

EducationUSA Advising Center in Almaty opened in October, 2010. Based at American Councils for International Education we offer a variety of face-to-face and virtual advising services to students and educators interested in learning about U.S. higher education. All services are free and include: regularly scheduled introductory presentations on 5 Steps to U.S. study; group and one-on-one consultations; test preparation reference books; diagnostic TOEFL and SAT; regular scholarship and financial aid opportunity updates; pre-departure orientation and intensive preparation summer workshops. Program Highlights

EducationUSA Fall Fair
Description: From October 7 to 14, the EducationUSA advising center held an educational exhibition of American higher education institutions in the cities of Astana, Shymkent and Almaty. 24 accredited universities including 2-year community colleges took part in the exhibition. These higher educational institutions were with the higher cost of education, which are included in the list of leading U.S. universities and with affordable tuition fees, which have an average ranking among the U.S. universities.
