The EducationUSA network's 400+ advisers work in advising centers in more than 175 countries and territories that are located at U.S. Embassies and Consulates or a variety of partner institutions, including Fulbright commissions, bi-national cultural centers, U.S. nongovernmental organizations (NGOs), and at international NGOs, universities, and libraries.

Advisers promote all accredited U.S. higher education institutions, assist students with the application process, facilitate pre-departure orientations, and manage advising centers.

Many EducationUSA advisers have first-hand experience of U.S. study. They work with U.S. higher education professionals to increase international student enrollment in the United States, looking for the student's best fit in accredited U.S. higher education institutions.  Advisers conduct outreach and advise virtually, as well as working with students in person at centers.  They receive U.S. Department of State-approved training on the U.S. higher education system and follow EducationUSA policy guidance.

If you are a staff member at a CHEA-recognized accredited U.S. post-secondary institution request a free login and learn more about how you can host an EducationUSA adviser on your campus.
