Amerikazentrum Hamburg (America Center Hamburg) is a bi-national cultural institution that supports German-American educational and cultural exchanges. It is sponsored by the nonprofit association Amerikazentrum Hamburg e.V. and supported by the U.S. Embassy and the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg. The focuses of the center’s activities are on events, such as conferences, lectures and discussions on current political and social issues of the transatlantic dialogue, as well as readings, exhibitions and film screenings. Another essential part of our work is providing information and advice on study and exchange opportunities as a certified EducationUSA Advising Center.
EducationUSA is a U.S. Department of State network of over 430 international student advising centers in 178 countries and territories. The network promotes U.S. higher education to students around the world by offering accurate, comprehensive, and current information about opportunities to study at accredited postsecondary institutions in the United States. EducationUSA also provides services to the U.S. higher education community to help institutional leaders meet their recruitment and campus internationalization goals.
Amerikazentrum Hamburg is also a certified TOEFL, ACT and TOEIC test and preparation center.
