Centro Binacional Chileno Americano

The EducationUSA Advising Center is a program affiliated with the US Department of State. This center is located in the Instituto Chileno Norteamericano de Cultura in Antofagasta. As a Standard Center, our mission is to promote, advise actively, precisely and objectively about higher education in the United States. We offer the following services: advising students to select  intensive English, undergraduate and graduate programs in U.S. institution; translating official documents, for example transcripts, certificates, etc; and hosting monthly presentations and Undergraduate and Graduate College Clubs. Besides that, we also give information about scholarships such as CONICYT, BECAS CHILE and Fulbright. In addition, we have a library open to the public where you can find material for preparing for international exams like the TOEFL, GRE, GMAT, SAT, and ACT.

Graduate College Club
Description: The Graduate College Club is 4 sessions about university requirements, exams, the CV, recommendation letters, and essays for graduate programs at American universities. The club is free and meant for students who are planning on applying to college for the 2018-2019 or 2019-2020 school year.
Deadline: July 3, 2017
Eligibility Requirements: Any participant can be in the club if they are applying to a graduate program at an American university for the the 2018-2019 or 2019-2020 school year.
Undergraduate College Club
Description: The Undergraduate College Club is 6 sessions about university requirements, exams, recommendation letters, financial aid, and essays for undergraduate programs at American universities. The club is free and meant for students who are planning on applying to college for the 2019-2020 or 2020-2021 school year.
Eligibility Requirements: Any participant can be in the club if they are applying to an undergraduate program at an American university for the the 2019-2020 or 2020-2021 school year.
