American Corners in Republic of Korea
Sponsored by the U.S. Embassy and participating Korean public libraries, American Corners in Republic of Korea are a joint partnership for sharing information, entertainment, culture, and educational resources with Korean citizens.
The Gangneung American Corner, located on the second floor of the Gangneung Municipal Moru Library, is your one-stop shop for public diplomacy programs and information on U.S. policy, education, and culture. A comfortable, tech-oriented space for open dialogue, idea generation and innovation, the Gangneung American Corner organizes programs to promote mutual understanding between the United States and the Republic of Korea. It is a space designed for social interaction where you can think and work creatively, build cultural bridges, collaborate, and make new acquaintances. We welcome your visit.
