Kennedy Infozentrum

The Kennedy Infozentrum opened in January 2001 as a successor to the former German-American Institute in Kiel. The Amerika-Gesellschaft Schleswig-Holstein functions as its sponsor. As an American Information Center, the Kennedy Infozentrum provides information about studying and working in the USA as well as about exchange programs. Moreover, the Kennedy Infozentrum has a DVD/video library, an American magazine section, a reference section and provides general information about the USA as well as accurate and unbiased information about all accredited U.S. higher education institutions.In addition, the Amerika-Gesellschaft offers a cultural program with lectures, readings, discussion groups, and language classes.The Kennedy Infozentrum is aimed at the general public and wants to improve German knowledge about the USA, support academic and non-academic exchange and international understanding.The Kennedy Inofzentrum is run completely by volunteer staff.
