Kuwait is the 16th leading place of origin and by a wide margin the third among Middle Eastern countries, for students coming to the United States to pursue higher education. According to Open Doors, in 2017/18 there were over 10,190 Kuwaiti students in the U.S. with the majority who are primarily funded by the government scholarship program.
Carrine Nasrallia at the U.S. Embassy in Kuwait City and Karen Bauer, EducationUSA Regional Educational Advising Coordinator (REAC), are pleased to provide an education briefing to U.S. universities about recruiting in Kuwaiti students and share updates about the scholarship program. This webinar is FREE.
