Open Doors reports the number of students from Kazakhstan studying in the U.S. is 1792 for the 2016/17 academic year. 486 Kazakhstani students have enrolled in graduate programs, a 4.7% increase from the previous year. Almost 52% of Kazakhstani students are pursuing undergraduate studies, continuing to outnumber by all other categories. Undergraduate studies include Associates’ and Bachelor’s degrees
