Camerata Scholarships - $10,000 Performance Scholarship

$10,000 Performance Scholarship for non-music majors – Renewable for 4 years. Students who are accepted into the UIS Music Camerata Scholarship Program are expected to devote the appropriate amount of time and effort required to provide leadership for existing ensembles and to maintain high quality Camerata ensembles. The Music Camerata is a group of non-major music scholarship students who perform in a variety of musical combinations for campus events throughout the academic year. Criteria for the scholarship includes: Must be an ‘On-campus’ student at UIS; Enroll and perform in the Camerata and one additional ensemble each semester; Enroll in MUS 141/341: Individual Music Lessons; Regular attendance at lessons, rehearsals and performances; Maintain minimum GPA of 3.0; Must be a full time student (12 credit hours minimum).
