NYIT offers academic scholarships and grants based on academic achievements and high scholastic potential. Scholarships for undergraduate students start at $5,000 and go up to $22,000 per year.
We review applications for admission to NYIT automatically for the scholarships listed below. In order be eligible, you must meet the following requirements:
PRESIDENT’S SCHOLARSHIP: $22,000 PER YEAR
To qualify:
Be an entering first-year student.
High school average of 95 or higher.
Minimum SAT score of 1270 or ACT score of 27
THEODORE K. STEELE MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP: $21,000 PER YEAR
To qualify:
Be an entering first-year student.
High school average of 90 or higher.
Minimum SAT score of 1180 or ACT score of 24
NYIT MERIT SCHOLARSHIPS AND ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS: $5,000–$19,000 PER YEAR
To qualify:
Be an entering first-year student.
Students not eligible for the President's or TK Steele Scholarship will be reviewed for these scholarships based on the strength of their application and must:
Have a minimum score of 990 on the SAT.
Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 80.
