UNLV is classified among "R1: Doctoral Universities - Very high research activity"(Research I university is a category that the Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education uses to indicate universities in the United States that engage in the highest levels of research activity.) For those who are interested in applying for Spring 2021 or Fall 2021 at University of Nevada - Las Vegas, here are some guidelines: Fall Deadline: The deadline for most programs is February / March. Computer Science (MS / PhD) - February 1 Computer Science (Spring) - October 1 GRE: For those who will apply for Masters and are only interested in admission, 297-305 is enough. Those who will apply for Ph.D. are better if it is 310-315. TOEFL: Minimum Requirement 60. IELTS: Accepting IELTS, the minimum must be 6.5 overall. Also, My department (Computer Science) accepts Medium of Instruction. There is only one reason to write so much. There are only 11 Bangladeshi graduate students here. There are Bangladeshis in Mathematics, Statistics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, English, MBA programs. The less you apply here, the fewer people come. We want more international students to apply and come here. Hopefully, in the future and in the spring, there will be a lot more applications from all over the world and our community will be bigger.
