To be considered, students must be recommended by a teacher, professor or counselor. We encourage nominations of students who meet or exceed the following requirements:
• GPA of 3.75 on a 4.0 scale
• Stellar visual arts, performing arts, writing or equestrian capabilities
• Honors and awards from competitions, or other recognitions
• Leadership skills demonstrated through co-curricular or extracurricular involvement
• At least 45 quarter hours or 27 semester hours of college-level coursework (transfer applicants only).
Nominees must complete all SCAD admission requirements, including transcript and portfolio submissions, prior to Feb. 1, 2021. Students should apply online at scad.edu/apply. To nominate a student, email the following information to nomination@scad.edu:
• Student's name
• Your school/institution name, city, state, and country
• Your name and position
• Brief statement (100 words or less) explaining why you are nominating the student.
