The U.S. Educational Advising Center, located at the U.S. Embassy in Ezulwini, Eswatini provides current and comprehensive information on educational opportunities in the United States. This Center should be the first stop for anyone interested in university or graduate level study in the U.S.

Special Programs

EducationUSA Scholars Program
Description: The EducationUSA Scholars Program guides talented and determined students through the admissions process for colleges and universities in the United States. Selected students will attend regular seminars that will assist them through the application process. Students work with the EducationUSA Adviser for a minimum of 12 months to 18 months.

Eligibility Requirements: Students must fill in an application form demonstrating the following:  Strong academic record  Evidence of leadership  Service to community and school  Outstanding character The applications are then reviewed by a panel and a final group of 20 is selected.
Opportunity Funds Program
Description: This Program assists students who are highly qualified yet financially disadvantaged. Students selected for this program get financial assistance for application fees and costs such as SAT Tests, application fees, SEVIS fees. Students who want to be beneficiaries of the Opportunity Fund Program must provide additional financial information whilst applying for the EducationUSA Scholars Program.

Program Highlights

SAT BOOTCAMP
Description: The EducationUSA advising center in Swaziland hosted its first ever SAT Bootcamp for 20 young scholars. Utilizing online resources such as the Khan Academy’s free tutorials, the boot camp incorporated audiovisual and digital technology that exposed students to new learning methods. After a four-day intensive review, students remarked that they were better equipped to approach the challenging entrance exam, scheduled for October 2017. This intensive workshop helped ensure that Swaziland’s top students can improve their scores, test confidently, and compete for admission to U.S. universities and colleges.
