EducationUSA Advising Center - Tirana

The EducationUSA advising center in Albania opened in 2012.  EducationUSA Albania has grown significantly since its establishment and offers a variety of programs for Albanian students.  There is a growing interest in U.S. study among students from Albania and committed advisers who are expanding the demand.  EducationUSA  Albania welcomes U.S. higher education professionals for in-person and virtual visits. All students from Albania are invited to participate in the center's ongoing programs and services.

April 1-12, 2019 U.S. university representatives are invited to register for the 2019 Southeastern Europe Tour. We are delighted to offer this tour for the sixth year in a row. The tour commences on Monday, April 1, 2019 in Ljubljana, Slovenia and ends on Friday, April 12, 2019 in Pristina, Kosovo. The tour stops in between are Zagreb, Croatia; Belgrade, Serbia; Sarajevo and Mostar, Bosnia & Herzegovina; Podgorica, Montenegro; Tirana, Albania; and Skopje, Macedonia.

Competitive College Club
Description: Competitive College Club is an intensive group advising for excellent students that want to apply in the universities or colleges in the U. S.
Deadline: August 31
Eligibility Requirements: 1. Application Form. 2. Transcripts of the previous grade. 3. The CCC Code of Conduct.
Opportunity Funds
Description: The EducationUSA Opportunity Funds program assists excellent students who are likely to be awarded partial or full funding scholarship from U.S. colleges and universities but lack the financial resources to cover some of the costs such as testing, application fees, or airfare. Competitive College Club students can apply for Opportunity Funds by the end of the program if they met the eligibility criteria.

Eligibility Requirements: Eligibility criteria for OPF students are: a. To be a CCC student (also the CCC alumni, those that have attended not the current ccc because were in 10th or 11th grade). b. Albanian nationality only c. Admitted to a US college with partial to full funding scholarship d. Essay or personal statement on How will Albania profit from your education in USA? e. Grades/ transcript GPA 9.5 to 10 f. TOEFL min 80 scores i. SAT general min 1200 scores / Subject test min 600 scores j. Economically severely disadvantaged / financial need (wages document, unemployed document, retired document, Family certificate).
