College Prep Club
Description: EducationUSA Kyrgyzstan Competitive College Club (CCC) is a group for highly motivated and talented Kyrgyzstani students applying to colleges and universities in the USA. The CCC serves as a cohort advising platform for better preparation for admissions throughout the application process. This includes essay writing sessions, test preparation seminars, mock interview sessions, volunteering opportunities, leadership development, and much more. While CCC does not guarantee admissions, it is designed to assist self-organized and independent Kyrgyzstani students with a better chance at admission to U.S. colleges or universities. Participation in CCC is free but requires completing the application and passing a simple interview with an EducationUSA adviser. The CCC is open to all eligible students in Kyrgyzstan regardless of nationality, ethnicity, and economic background.
Deadline: September, 2024
Eligibility Requirements: - Students should be graduating from a high school in May 2026 or May 2027 (9-10 grades); - Level of English must be upper-intermediate or higher; - U.S. universities must be their first choice; - Students must be ready to commit their time, attend all the sessions, and do all the home assignments. - We won't accept students who already participated in CPC

Program Highlights

International Education Week Webinars
Description: EducationUSA Kyrgyzstan participated in a one-week campaign "the U.S. Education Week" by the U.S. Embassy in Kyrgyzstan, together with the Bishkek American Center, to provide accurate information about educational opportunities in the United States. There will be open Facebook Live sessions about the U.S. system of education and how Kyrgyz citizens can apply to study in the USA. We also offered a unique opportunity to speak with U.S. Embassy representatives in closed Zoom groups to learn more about the university they studied in.
Marathon with Top U.S. Universities with EducationUSA Kyrgyzstan
Description: Students in Kyrgyzstan had an opportunity to sign-up for webinars with 8 tops schools in the U.S: Minerva Schools at KGI, Barnard College, Colgate University, Swarthmore College, Washington and Lee University, NYUAD, University of Richmond, and the University of Rochester. All these institutions offer full-ride scholarships to international students. Students learned about selective admissions, funding opportunities, the testing policies, and the core values of each university.
