Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado (FAAP) is a philanthropic, private higher education institution and one of the country's most prestigious universities. It was founded in 1947 over the estate of Count Armando Alvares Penteado to sponsor the arts.
Today, the university is an important cultural center in São Paulo, with various courses both at the undergraduate and graduate levels. It also has a high school and one of the most eminent theaters in the city (Teatro FAAP), which serves the whole community of São Paulo. The Museu de Arte Brasileira (Museum of Brazilian Art) invests in culture, with approximately 2,500 to 3,500 pieces of art. The museum is the main focus of the campus and is open to the public with its' various art exhibitions throughout the year.
FAAP also provides lectures delivered by notable artists, politicians and economists. Some examples of past guest speakers include George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, Gordon Brown, and Queen Silvia of Sweden. FAAP is a university that fosters innovation, globalization, and creativity, which can be seen throughout the campus and mainly when spoken with the students.

Our services include one-on-one advising, group advising, virtual advising via email and social platforms, informational sessions, webinars, and workshops. We provide information about short-term programs, undergraduate and graduate programs, medical residency, and postdoctoral programs. U.S. higher education representatives regularly join EducationUSA advisers as guest speakers, considering our center is well-equipped for large presentations.
