Fulbright EducationUSA Budapest

The Fulbright EducationUSA Advising Center is open to all who wish to pursue study in the United States. Undergraduate and graduate students, young professionals, post-doctoral fellows and researchers are all welcome to make use of the service. With our library of reference books, American university catalogue collection, handouts, CD ROMs and internet access, we provide a comprehensive source of information about U.S. higher education. The center offers group orientation sessions as well as one-on-one advising. We also provide information on: - Structure of the American higher education; - How to define study objectives and find appropriate institutions; - Application procedures and admission requirements for study in a particular field;Testing requirements (TOEFL, GRE, GMAT, SAT, ACT, LSAT, etc.), and test preparation materials; - Possible sources of financial assistance; - Scholarship opportunities including the Fulbright Program; - Adjusting to academic and cultural life in the U.S.  The center is staffed by a senior EducationUSA adviser who is also the Country Coordinator for Hungary and coordinating activities among the four other advising centers in the country.  The center welcomes students and U.S. higher education colleagues to take advantages of its many services.
