Program Highlights

New EducationUSA Center in Algiers at World Learning Algeria
Description: A new EducationUSA Advising Center has been opened in Algeria, bringing the grand total to two advising centers! This new center will provide expanded advising hours, more advising, more resources and supports to students. Most importantly, the new center services are headed by an Algerian national with study abroad experience, which will provide persistent, undisrupted services, unlike in the past.
Visit by Shoreline Community College
Description: Lisa Maroni, Shoreline Community College international student recruiter, visited EducationUSA Algeria in December! The impetus of her visit was to participate in the Annual International Book Fair in Algeria, which boasts over a million visitors on average. Between the book fair and private high school visits, the advantages and the benefits of community colleges were shared with over 500 students. This resulted in new students entering the application pipeline for the 2020-2021 university calendar and beyond.
