Academic Life: A Class Perspective (U.S. Classrooms, Engagement with Professors, Assistantships, Research and More)

EducationUSA India presents the U.S. University Prepathon Webinar Series from June 9 through July 28, 2022; every Thursday, 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. (IST). This series is especially designed for students admitted to undergraduate and graduate programs for the upcoming fall semester in August - September 2022.   The second session in this series is on Thursday, June 16, 2022, from 6 to 7.30 PM IST and covers Academic Life: A Class Perspective (U.S. Classrooms, Engagement with Professors, Assistantships, Research and More). Parents are also welcome to join the sessions.   Panellists for the session on June 16 are Kamon Hester, Senior International Admissions Specialist at North Carolina State University and Dhruv Garg, current student of MS in Computer Science at Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta. They will share insights on academic life - from signing up for classes, understanding the syllabi, engaging with your academic adviser, applying for research and internship opportunities to exploring funding options.
