Helping Children Cope with Trauma

Russia’s invasion of Ukraine is taking a psychological toll on the children of Ukraine and could have long term consequences for them. However, teachers and parents have the power to protect the children and help them cope with the trauma of war. Ukraine is a
highly collective culture which is a huge asset in saving the children This presentation will review the effects of war on children at different developmental levels and then will
outline how to mitigate those effects.
