Study in California: Options, Transfers, Funding, and More.

No other state in the U.S. offers as wide a selection of higher education options than the state of California. There are the University of California system (UC), California State University system (CSU), Community College system, and Independent/Private Institutions. Speakers will give an overview of each system, pointing to its uniqueness and offerings. Participants will learn about how transferring from a community college to any of these universities can be a great pathway. Get lots of tips on how to find the best school match school for your interests and needs!

Hear from Marilyn Cheung, (Director of International of International Student Recruitment and Partner Relations at Foothill + De Anza Colleges), Debra Zhang (Senior International Admissions Counselor at the University of California, Irvine), and Krittaya Pichitnapakul (Director of International Admission at the University of San Francisco).

Students and parents are free to attend. There will be a Q&A at the end and some time for one-on-one discussions with the admissions counselors. Light refreshments will be served.
