EducationUSA Philippines is conducting a 3-day visit to Baguio City, located in the Northern part of the Philippines, to ramp up in-person information sessions and school visits. Advisers are also expecting to meet with counselors and school administrators to discuss opportunities for collaboration with EducationUSA.
September 21:
- EducationUSA advisers will meet with the government department in charge of secondary schools in Baguio City for a courtesy visit and to talk briefly about EducationUSA and its programs.
- EducationUSA advisers will conduct a training briefing with American Corner at Saint Louis University.
- To provide more visibility during the exam period of the students, EducationUSA will put up a booth at Saint Louis University so students could approach them with questions relating to studying in the United States.
- EducationUSA advisers will meet with school officials from three universities to discuss how EducationUSA could increase its visibility and collaboration with these universities to support student mobility to the United States.
September 22
- EducationUSA advisers will meet with counselors from highschools in Cordillera and Baguio city to discuss how EducationUSA could further cooperate with counselors and help them in advising students who are interested in studying in the United States.
- An information session at Brent International School is scheduled in the afternoon to conduct briefing with students and parents who would like to know more about the processes and the opportunities available to pursue higher education in the United States.
September 23
- EducationUSA will be holding a public information session at Baguio Burnham Suites to discuss about the general details on studying in the United States, including researching options, financing studies, and completing application.
