A Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) degree is traditionally earned in two years, but can be completed in one year in some accelerated programs. An Executive or Professional MBA is tailored for people already employed in business who are interested in managerial positions. Executive and Professional MBAs allow students to work full time while taking graduate degree programs. While maintaining student visa status, international candidates at this level may consider internships or working abroad to carry out professional activities during program completion. Students who are targeting a career in finance and financial markets may consider a Masters of Science in Finance (MSF) rather than a more general MBA.
