The International Transfer Student Awards at the University of Missouri (Mizzou) are automatic, renewable scholarships for transfer students with 24 or more transferable credit hours. Students with a 3.00 GPA or above qualify for a 50% nonresident fee waiver (approximately $7,919), and students with a 3.90 GPA or above qualify for a 100% nonresident fee waiver (approximately $15,838). Students with a 3.00 or higher GPA who do not have at least 24 transferable credit hours may still qualify for the 50% non-resident fee waiver if they received a score between 27-36 on the ACT or 1260-1600 on the SAT. Students are automatically considered once admitted to MU. The scholarship is renewable for three additional years according to renewal criteria. The award may also be combined with a $1,000 award for members of Phi Theta Kappa and/or a $500 award for students who earn an Associates Degree from a Missouri community college.
