EducationUSA Scholars Program 2018
Description: EducationUSA office at the U.S Embassy guides talented and determined students through the admissions process for colleges and universities in the United States. Selected students will attend regular seminars that will assist them through the application process. Students will work with our educational advising staff over this year and the next year to try to secure admission and financial assistance to begin study in the United States in August 2019.
Deadline: December 15th 2017
Eligibility Requirements: High school graduates with;
1. Strong academic record (10 aggregates and below at O Level and 18 points and above at A level)
2.Evidence of leadership
3. Service to community and school
4. Outstanding character

SKYPE SESSION WITH ADMISSIONS COUNSELOR FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF BALTIMORE
Description: The counselor offered guidance to students from a local university on the application process, entrance requirements and aptitude tests required for one to get into the business school. Thereafter, he did a Q&A session where the students asked various questions especially in relation to financial aid options at the university.
EDUCATIONUSA KAMPALA HOSTS ADMISSIONS COUNSELORS FROM DUKE, VANDERBILT AND DARTMOUTH
Description: EducationUSA Kampala hosted admissions counselors from Duke University, Vanderbilt University and Dartmouth. The counselors each spoke about their individual institutions: the application process, selection criteria and the importance of extra curricula activities.
