EducationUSA Advising Center - Kigali

The EducationUSA Advising Center at the U.S Embassy serves students and prospective students wishing to study in the U.S from across Rwanda by providing them with accurate, comprehensive, and current information about the higher education system in the United States. This entails advising and providing information on appropriate colleges and universities and on scholarships and fees and other financial resources needed for studying in the United States. The center also provides information about tests and testing procedures, accreditation, distance learning, and visa requirements.

EducationUSA Scholars Program (ESP)
Description: EducationUSA Scholars Program (ESP) is a college prep program for recent high school graduates. ESP students meet at the EducationUSA Advising Center three times a week. Typically, ESP college prep classes focus on standardized testing, college search, and writing college application essays.
Deadline: December 10th
Eligibility Requirements: Successful Applicants must have: - Scored 75% or B+ throughout the last three years of secondary school (Senior 4, Senior 5, and Senior 6). -Strong English Language Skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking. -Demonstrated leadership qualities and a record of public service.
