EducationUSA advising center at Universidad de Guadalajara

The EducationUSA advising center at Universidad de Guadalajara in Guadalajara, Mexico offers professional educational advising services to students from the State of Jalisco, Colima and Nayarit. In 2018, it reached more than 6,000 students through its differents activities.  

The center provides a variety of educational services, including free introductory public information sessions on various topics of U.S. education, webinars, individual consultations on U.S. study, and application support services. It also provides logistical support to accredited U.S. higher education institutions on recruitment in Mexico as well as supports open public events such as presentations and fairs to promote exchange opportunities, working closely with the local educational community in Jalisco, Nayarit and Colima.  

Our host institution, the University of Guadalajara is a meritorious, public, secular and autonomous institution with a social commitment and an international vocation. It is the second largest university in Mexico composed by 15 university campuses, one online university system, and one medium higher education system. It serves more than 270,000 students and employs close to 28,000 people as academic and administrative staff. 

EducationUSA in Guadalajara is a space in which the local community can enjoy educational activities that promote the strong bond among the U.S. and Mexico.
