The EducationUSA advising center at Universidad de Guadalajara in Guadalajara, Mexico offers professional educational advising services to residents from the states of Jalisco, Colima and Nayarit.
The center provides a variety of educational services, including:
- free introductory public information sessions on various topics of U.S. education,
- webinars,
- individual consultations on U.S. study, and
- application support services.
It also provides logistical support to accredited U.S. higher education institutions on recruitment in the states of Jalisco, Nayarit, and Colima. It also supports open public events such as presentations and fairs to promote exchange opportunities, working closely with the local educational community.
About our host institution
The Universidad de Guadalajara is a public and autonomous institution with a social commitment and an international vocation. It is the second-largest university in Mexico composed of 16 university campuses, one online university system, and one high school education system. It serves more than 270,000 students and employs close to 28,000 people as academic and administrative staff.
