The center provides a variety of educational services, including free introductory public information sessions on various topics of U.S. education, webinars, individual consultations on U.S. study, and application support services. It also provides logistical support to accredited U.S. higher education institutions on recruitment in Mexico as well as supports open public events such as presentations and fairs to promote exchange opportunities, working closely with the local educational community

Our host, UPAEP, is a private higher education institution.  EducationUSA Puebla is a space in which the local community can enjoy cultural and educational activities that promote the strong bond among the U.S. and Mexico. Such as English conversation clubs, writing workshops, and cultural activities for Valentines, Thanksgiving, 4th of July and Christmas.

Program Highlights

Conversation Club
Description: Having a conversation club is to help students improve their English-speaking skills since the vast majority do not have someone to practice with. Most students have different plans for their visit to the USA. For example, some of them are planning an exchange semester or participate in a double degree program, others want to study a masters or a PhD program with a fully funded scholarship and the rest want to participate in a short language program.
Writing Workshop
Description: Some advisees feel lost when writing their motivation letter for their desired university and need continuous help to review their letters. Some feel scared or ashamed to ask for help and this step discourages them to continue their admission process. This is the reason why this pilot program may help them continue with their processes and encourage scholarships applications.
