For many American and Australian students, a common pathway that students choose after high school is to start their U.S. college life at a 2-year college often called a ‘Community College’ or ‘Junior College’.
After completing an Associate’s degree students then enroll at a 4-year institution. This is often referred to as the 2+2 pathway which enables you to experience learning in a way that provides you with two world-class degrees.
We invite you to attend this session and hear from staff from Lane Community College in Oregon and the University of Cincinnati in Ohio who will discuss this pathway, explain what articulation agreements are and how you may qualify for scholarships as a transfer student.
Other items that will be discussed will include how a 2+2 pathway can be:
• A way to save money
• A way to complete your general classes in a liberal arts environment
• A way to start at a smaller campus
• A pathway that may suit you
We look forward to you joining us and we encourage you to bring your questions!
