EducationUSA Advising Center Sarajevo is the oldest advising center in Bosnia and Hercegovina providing comprehensive services to students and U.S. higher education representatives. As a part of the EducationUSA network with over 400 centers worldwide, it actively promotes U.S. higher education around the world by offering accurate, comprehensive and current information about educational institutions in the United States and guidance to qualified students, scholars, and professionals on how best to access those opportunities. The Sarajevo based center organizes U.S. college fairs every year since 2011.
Services to students include but are not limited to: individual and group sessions, help with selection of schools, preparing successful applications, registering and preparing for admission and English language tests, aid with application essays and personal statements etc. Students can join Competitive College Clubs and become eligible for application to Opportunity Funds grants.
Services to the U.S. higher education representatives include, but are not limited to: providing assistance in arranging school visits, organization of college fairs, assistance in verification of credentials and accreditation of education institutions in BiH, and providing information about the education system.
